People credited with the unit standards in this Seafood Logistics strand are able to demonstrate the following:

• knowledge of the documentation and seafood product checks when receiving seafood product into and when dispatching seafood product from the seafood operation.
• carry out the seafood product checks, and complete documentation for the movement of seafood product.
• knowledge of handling practices required to produce seafood product and produce seafood product that is fit for its intended purpose.
• carry out routine seafood preparation for transport and storage and implement transport and storage options.
