Compulsory
The Compulsory unit provides the primary food processing sector with people who are able to work as operators carrying out routine operations safely and mindful of self and others.
Graduates will be capable of working under limited supervision safely with responsibility for their own work outcomes.
Graduates of this qualification will be able to:
- Comply with the HSWA 2015 and identify hazards in the workplace.
- Be familiar with control measures to minimise and eliminate health and safety risks.
- Work through and analyze methods for reporting accidents and near misses.
